Dr. Ryan Hooper, O.D.

Dr. Ryan Hooper, O.D. is a Cleveland native with diverse experience as a Theraputic Optometrist. He is a graduate of Perry High School and Mount Union College, where he earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Hooper earned his doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. During optometry school, Dr. Hooper gained in-depth experience treating patients through his externships at large clinics in Chicago, a small private practice in Austin, Texas, and the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Clinic. Dr. Hooper has practiced for more than four years in primary care private practice, first in the greater Cleveland area and then in San Antonio, Texas, where he was able to hone his Orthokeratology skills. Newly returned to the Cleveland area, Dr. Hooper is eager to share his knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm for preventative care and Northeast Ohio with his new patients.

When Dr. Hooper is not treating patients, he can be found exploring and hiking with his girlfriend, Corrylee, and their energetic Jack Russell mix, Max. An avid sports fan, Dr. Hooper supports Manchester City, along with Ohio State Sports and the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians.
